This waiting period can prove to be most difficult as the resident Mom will have to find a place to accept her child on scholarship, pay full fee, or leave the child with a friend or family member which is often not an option and not in the best interest of the child.

How can we fulfill our mission to nurture and support mothers and their children?
How can we remove the waiting period so a child can begin quality care and education quickly?
Will you provide one month of childcare during this waiting period so mom can get a job and begin building stability for her family?

Community Diaper Pantry & Support Program

Your support will meet the immediate needs of single mothers and their children, preventing a crisis that could lead to homelessness. This will foster positive community outreach while helping to offset the financial burden of items like diapers, wipes, food, baby furniture, baby clothing, maternity clothing, etc.

Bridges Diaper Pantry will meet immediate needs in the community while offering a safe place for parents to receive education and encouragement. This support system will prevent homelessness, violence, isolation and crime while helping parents to develop relationships with their children and community.

Double Capacity (Let’s Make Room)

This story is not uncommon, many families endure this struggle daily because Bridges is not a part of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program that allows families to stay here until their voucher is ready. Instead they are transferred to “emergency shelters”. Your support helps us to provide Help.Hope.Home to a Mom in crisis.

Life After Bridges

She used all the money she had to move in and purchase necessities however she is still lacking beds, linen and furniture. Your support will provide furnishings for Breanna and other families like hers that are rebuilding their life.
