A crisis can be a loss of income or support system, unexpected pregnancy, sickness, assault or sexual exploitation which can all lead to homelessness. Bridges is a place of refuge where families find peace, hope, and a fresh start.
No longer will mothers be afraid of the harsh conditions on the street, in a car, or worry about being taken advantage of in order to have a place to sleep. Specifically, Bridges can help with temporary shelter, spiritual guidance, housing referrals, parenting support, diapers, case management, individual and family counseling, co-parenting groups, clothing vouchers and CPS approved parenting classes.
